Rx. Quinquifolii Xi Yang Shen 10g Tonifies Qi, generates fluids, nurtures the Stomach, nourishes Yin, benefits Lung Yin and clears Fire from the Lungs.
With Shi Hu, Mai Men Dong and Zhi Mu, for a high fever, thirst, diarrhea and dehydration associated with Warm-Heat pathogen disease in which both the Qi and Fluids have been injured.
Hb. Dendrobii Shi Hu 10g Nourishes Yin, clears Heat, generates fluids, enriches Kidney Yin, reduces Heat from Deficiency and nourishes Stomach and Lung Yin.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 6g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin, stops coughing, nourishes Stomach Yin, generates Fluids, clears the Heart and eliminates irritability.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 2.5g Clears Heat, drains Dampness, drains Fire, resolves Fire toxicity and drains Stomach Fire.
Hb. Phylostachys Nigri Zhu Ye 10g Clears Heat, relieves irritability, generates Body Fluids and promotes urination.
With Zhi Mu and Mai Men Dong, for Heat Attacking the Heart with irritability
Caulis Menthae Bo He Geng 10g Descends Qi and eases the Middle.
Rz. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 10g Clears Heat and drains Fire from the Qi Stage, Lungs and Stomach, nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness, generates Fluids, clears Deficiency Fire and quenches thirst.
With Huang Lian, for Blazing Stomach Fire with intense hunger, dry stools, dry, yellow tongue coat and a slippery rapid pulse.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3g Moistens the Lungs, resolves Phlegm, stops coughing, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
